That made me open my comp, and at least now I know. Īnyway, being thus far unable to restore or reinstall VgaSave, I decided to go after the original IGP, but none of the ones I've found and DL'ed want to install. Įdit : I did re-enable the HD4670, but as yet have no onboard, and therefore no backup for the 'hunt'. Of course, M$ threw in their VgaSave, but I screwed up and disabled that without first ensuring that the card was enabled, and wound up with no display at all.

The reason I looked into that is that I want to find the driver for the onboard graphics (accidentally removed by yours truly) so I can resume the driver hunt re the HD4670 AGP.

The guy who gave it to me had it 'built' in April '08, but I always thought it was originally an '04. maybe you have other issues going on, or your rig is 15+ years old.įunny you should mention that, rob046 I just finished opening up my comp to verify that my m/b is what I thought it was, and the southbridge chip is SiS964, (some numbers I didn't write down, and.) My monitor is just a 17-inch 4 :3 CRT with native 1024x768 and available 1280x1024 (monitor clicks off momentarily and resets)-which actually displays smaller than the fullscreen native. My Fantastic Journey has 1600x1200 blacked out, while Big Race USA has it available. Though I can't refer to Timeshock!-an uninstall-reinstall screwed something up and it won't load-I still don't see a concrete rule regarding resolution choices.
